PLUS11 was founded at the heart of Silicon Slopes in Provo, Utah.
Our first product launch was in 2013 at South By Southwest (SXSW) where Shaq picked our app, Speakerfy, as the winner of his “Pitch Shaq” competition. Having Shaq pick us as the Top Startup put us on the map and instantly led to more opportunities like working with Nick Cannon and other big names in the industry.
We immediately recognized a future need that the current Social Media space was creating. Passionate, underserved communities had no place to express themselves and collaborate together on what they love.
With the introduction of Platform, we are now bridging the gap between traditional Social Media and the future of niche, hyper-focused communities.
